Tyla has just released the sun-soaked music video for her track "Jump," featuring Gunna and Skillibeng.
Directed by Nabil, the video showcases Tyla basking in the South African sun, lounging, tanning, and striking glamorous poses. One memorable scene has Tyla causing a traffic jam, leading to an impromptu twerk-off in front of a bus emblazoned with her image.
In "Jump," Tyla's alluring voice delivers the lines, “From Jozi to Ibiza/They say it doesn’t get sweeter. Feel my body bangin’ like speaker/Ooh, sweatin’ out my concealer.”
The release of this video follows her March album, which features tracks like “No.1” with Tems, “On My Body” with Becky G, and her hit “Water.” Tyla recently spoke to Rolling Stone about her debut album, expressing her pride in showcasing her cultural roots.
“When I listen to the album, I’m so proud of it,” she said. “I see our sound reaching far and wide: the culture, the words, the slang. Even just Joburg — the idea of people now singing about Joburg.”
