Where cognac and culture converge, that's where you find Hennessy & African Ginger bringing South Africa's first rooftop court to life.

Joining forces with artist Seth Pimentel and Play Braamfontein, Hennessy unveiled a one-of-a-kind basketball court atop 73 Juta Street. Blending heritage and modern urban spirit, the court's artwork weaves the timeless African sunset with Braamfontein's vibrant culture.

Seth Pimentel envisioned quantifying the district's cultural rhythm through the Hennessy lens. The result is a canvas fusing both, a space for community and creativity.

The opening tipped off with hip-hop and house, segueing into the court's reveal. Hennessy aims to become integral to the Braamfontein lifestyle, celebrating and contributing to the local culture. Part of Hennessy's NBA partnership, the event featured a live game viewing between the Lakers and Magic. Consider it one more way Hennessy is bringing the game into Braamfontein's way of life.
